About The History of The Show
In March 2009, The American Craft Council cancelled their show in Sarasota disappointing their loyal following of crafts artists who were not at all willing to accept the cancellation. They asked Richard and Joanna Rothbard if they would be willing to launch a new Sarasota show of the same quality of the cancelled ACC show.

Seven years later the new show has blossomed and is thriving with a stellar reputation. Many of the original exhibitors have been joined by other artists who have helped to make the American Fine Craft Show Sarasota the most popular quality craft event on the west coast of Florida.
